Pisgah National Forest!

Did you know that Pisgah National Forest was purchased on March 27, 1911. It was purchased with federal money that was allocated in the Eastern United States for land conservation.
The forest covers more than 500,000 acres now across 15 counties in western North Carolina. This is an excellent place to enjoy nature in NC if you haven’t been yet. There are lots of awesome camping areas. Make sure you take advantage of some of the excellent nature available to us in North Carolina!
