More NC Apples

We’ve written about these before, but we wanted to mention them again. Some really delicious apples are grown in North Carolina. We are in the middle of the perfect season for getting NC apples.

There is a great list of the ripening schedule for different varieties of NC apples here. There are plenty of amazing farms in the Western part of our state that you can go and pick your own apples to eat. What a delightful time! It’s not too far from Charlotte, and it is worth a weekend trip from the Raleigh area as well if yyou are able to make it.

If you aren’t able to go yourself, look for NC apples in your local grocery store or farmer’s market. Eat these delicious fruits!
