Solar Flares

It is hot outside. The main photo for this post is a picture of a solar flare from the sun. Despite the immense power and heat that this star has, it can sometimes look calm while looking at a beautiful photo. This image was taken in January of 2012. They said this was only a medium solar flare. They can get much larger. Hopefully these flares don’t lead to disruptions in electronics.
