Grocery Store Options

North Carolina has quite a large amount of grocery store options. It is even where many large chains got their start. The Fresh Market, Ingles, Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Lowe’s Foods, and Earth Fare all began in North Carolina. Depending on which area you live in NC, you generally have access to multiple different stores.

Recently one of the bigger names in grocery stores opened their first store in Raleigh – Wegman’s. They are generally voted as one of the best grocery stores in the whole country. More stores are opening soon in the Triangle area also. We are big fans of good grocery stores and are happy the best stores are choosing to open in our state.
